Hi, I'm Pete
I’m a consultant and advisor dedicated to helping sport and recreation organisations thrive in an increasingly competitive environment.

I founded Purpose Driven Performance in 2018 with a mission to support organisations across the sport and recreation sector in creating strategies that grow participation, strengthen communities, and achieve sustainable business growth. Many organisations struggle with balancing their community-focused purpose against the realities of commercial pressures. My goal is to help them bridge this gap by delivering strategies that work in the real world—not just plans that sit on a shelf.

Whether you’re a governing body, local council, private provider, or community club, I work with leaders and teams to identify their unique strengths, innovate their approach, and unlock opportunities for growth. Since starting PDP, I’ve partnered with over 50 clients, ranging from local sports clubs to national associations and government bodies, delivering tangible results and impactful strategies.
About Me
With over 25 years of experience in the sport, fitness, and recreation sectors, I’ve seen firsthand the challenges organisations face in meeting evolving community needs while achieving sustainable growth. My career has included senior leadership roles such as Association CEO, Board Director, Sport Australia Consultant and managing a major leisure facility, as well as co-owning and growing a swim school from 40 students to 800 per week.
